When Adam and Sam approached me to be their wedding photographer all the way back in beginning of 2014, I was truly honoured.
Their wedding wasn't until September 2015 so it was a way off yet. So we arranged to meet for their consultation at the venue - The Limes Country Lodge Hotel (which is just down the road from me!) in the September of 2014. We would discuss/walk through their wedding day schedule and we could get a feel of what the grounds would look like come Sept 2015.
Sometimes I get to visit venues and their grounds before the day and sometimes there just isn't time. Especially if the wedding photography booking is very last minute, some of mine are booked just the week before the wedding day! Being prepared is great but as a photographer at some point (lots of times) you have to be ready to work off the cuff, actually it's that, that makes the job interesting.
Adam and Sam's wedding was a very well planned day and with the weather being beautiful being with them from 10.30am until 11.30pm was a dream, we didn't have to compromise on the photos one single bit. Resulting in a stunning documentary of wedding day images.
I endeavour to photograph clean, sharp, true to life colour (or black and white) images. I believe this way they hold more longevity (in terms of the photos 'dating'), illustrating the bride and grooms cherished moments and looking great for many years to come.
