How do we book you?
After liaising and we have created your bespoke photography coverage together, simply return your; booking form, T&C's, together with your deposit to secure the date with me. The remainder is due 14 days before the wedding. All dates are booked on a first come first served basis.
How soon should we book you?
As soon as you can really, I find I have an influx of enquiries for certain dates. A year in advance would be fab! I’ll even welcome bookings with just a few days notice if I’m available!
What areas do you cover?
I will travel anywhere you’d like me to cover your wedding! Travel within the West Midlands is free of charge, 0.25p per mile thereafter, accommodation (if required) at cost, transport required in adverse weather conditions at cost. Overseas: the wedding photography cost plus, travel, accommodation, and an additional £100 per day.
How many photographs will you take on the day?
There isn’t a limit to the number of photographs I will take on the day. I will try to take as many pictures as there are opportunities! The quantity might depend on the size of your wedding, the location, the elements to your day and sometimes the weather.
Do you take formal or group shots?
Yes of course, though I like to make them relaxed and fun. And not to consume too much time, after all, you do have a wedding to enjoy!
What are edited images?
My edited images are images that are: colour balanced (if required making sure the overall colour looks is as true to how it was on the day as possible) cropped to their best aspect, and resized (to specific dimensions if required). I leave the images as untouched as possible as adding ‘effects’ will look good for now but actually prematurely age your images.
Photographers need fuel…
A full day of shooting requires full and total concentration to get the best possible images throughout your wedding day. I do ask that a balanced meal is provided for me on the day, not too dissimilar to that of the wedding guests (not 3 course's though!) and to be seated where I can keep an eye on the action so I can jump back to it at a moments notice!
Can we buy all of the photos from the day?
Depending on your package, you can choose to buy all of the rest of the ‘hi-res’ images from the day or the odd few directly from the proofing page. Once I have edited them and supplied them to you, you will have to right to reproduce as you wish.
You’ll have the right to reproduce the images (which are supplied in hi-res jpg format) however you’d like to; email them, post them on Facebook and get them printed. I’ll have the right as the author to use them in any self-promotion.
When are the images available to see?
Images are available approximately 2-3 weeks from the shoot date via the password protected ‘gallery invite’ I send to you or ‘client access’ link on my website.
How can our wedding guests view or order the photographs?
Your wedding photographs will be displayed in a proofing gallery you can favourite a selection you’d like to share or share the whole gallery with them. It’s directly from here your guests can also buy any prints and products they’d wish.
Who chooses the photos for the album?
You do! As you know whom out of your wedding party, you would like to feature in your album. However, I am more than happy to lend my advice if you are having difficulty deciding over so many gorgeous images.
Album images choice timescale
Image choices must be made within 30 days of their availability online to retain their editing schedule and to get the album turned round and to you as soon as possible.
How long does it take to make the album?
Once I have received your approval and you have approved your album design. The design files are then set to print. It normally takes a further 2/3 weeks for the printing, binding and constructing of your album, once it’s ready I’ll contact you for collection.
Travel & Accommodation
I travel my first 20 miles free of charge and then £0.25p per mile thereafter. Accommodation should it be required is at cost. Overseas: the wedding photography cost plus, travel, accommodation, and an additional £100 per day.
